Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen technologies with 3-year commercialization plans
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, Web4.0) for competitive advantage
- Partner with product teams to integrate future capabilities into current roadmaps
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused KPIs
- Build and mentor high-performing innovation teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation with 3+ years focused on 2026+ horizon planning
- Proven track record scaling tech products to $50M+ ARR
- Expertise in emerging tech adoption frameworks (Gartner, Forrester)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Futurist Studies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams across 3+ continents
- Portfolio of successfully launched future-focused initiatives
- Deep network within Silicon Valley and Austin tech ecosystems
