Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Horizon Initiative, defining long-term technical strategies and architectural blueprints for the next three years.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging technologies (e.g., quantum computing, advanced AI) and assess their applicability to our core business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding R&D, Product, and Engineeringâto translate high-level strategy into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, presenting complex technical concepts and future scenarios in a clear, compelling narrative.
- Pilot and evaluate emerging technologies through proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to de-risk future development cycles.
- Establish a culture of innovation within the engineering department, fostering creativity and continuous learning.
- Monitor global technology shifts and regulatory changes to ensure our architectural strategies remain compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, product strategy, or technical leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving innovation.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think 5-10 years into the future and translate abstract concepts into concrete technical strategies.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, AI/ML frameworks, and distributed systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing high-performing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving progress in fast-paced, evolving environments.
