Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product teams on future opportunities
- Present trend reports to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of accurate tech trend predictions
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- Published author in technology or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
