Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic shifts, technological disruptions, and cultural trends to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI ethics, quantum computing, bio-integration)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-ready innovation priorities
- Produce trend intelligence reports with actionable recommendations for executive decision-making
- Design and monitor KPIs for future-readiness metrics across business units
- Partner with product teams to embed 2026 foresight into development roadmaps
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis using tools like Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, or STEEP analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or scenario planning projects
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategy implementation
