Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and cultural movements to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for quantum computing integration and AI autonomy adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and present strategic frameworks to investors and partners
- Monitor geopolitical and climate risk factors impacting tech deployment timelines
- Design immersive foresight workshops to cultivate future-thinking across the organization
- Partner with venture capital arm to scout and evaluate emerging startups in exponential tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential technologies: AI, quantum, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
