Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps across quantum AI, synthetic biology, and climate adaptation domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough technologies with venture capital backing
- Analyze emerging global trends (geopolitical, technological, environmental) to identify strategic opportunities
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar R&D grants from federal and private innovation funds
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology innovation with proven 5+ year strategic planning impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating leadership in at least two emerging technology domains
- Experience securing $5M+ in government innovation grants or venture funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurism or technology journals
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, Gartner Pulse)
