Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Identify and vet disruptive startups for acquisition/partnership
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Present technology forecasts and opportunities to C-suite and board members
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (papers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience scaling technology from prototype to global markets
