Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate scanning and recording of inventory using handheld scanners to maintain stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to specifications and quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the storage area organized, clean, and safe by following all safety protocols and waste disposal procedures.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse machinery (including forklifts and pallet jacks) with strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory counts and order picking.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
