Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and package products for shipment using handheld scanners.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock levels during weekend shifts.
- Order Fulfillment: Load and unload trucks efficiently to meet tight weekend deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience or logistics background is preferred but not required for temporary roles.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus but training may be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and order picking.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
