Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Sort, check, and organize incoming stock to ensure accuracy and proper placement.
- Packaging: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels are correct and items are secure.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and reports regarding stock levels and damages.
- Equipment Handling: Perform minor maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday (or specific weekend shifts) as required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and inventory checks.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow supervisor instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
