We are seeking a highly skilled Weekend IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in New York City. This is a contract position requiring availability on Saturdays and Sundays to support our 24/7 operational needs. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and resolve incoming service tickets in the helpdesk system efficiently.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and security updates.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to ensure seamless coverage during weekends.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Assist with laptop deployments and peripheral setup for remote staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of IT support or Helpdesk experience.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
