Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and discharge processes during weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Facilitate seamless communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Assist with weekend patient flow optimization and resource allocation
- Document all interactions accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Support weekend clinic operations and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare coordination or medical office experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred, other systems acceptable)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced weekend environments
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
