We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to maintain our clients' systems during weekends, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction. This contract position provides exposure to cutting-edge technologies while maintaining a healthy work-life balance with weekday availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Resolve complex IT issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and peripheral devices
- Document all IT incidents, resolutions, and system changes in ticketing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekend system deployments
- Conduct preventative maintenance and system optimization tasks
- Maintain strict security protocols and data protection standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support experience in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficient in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with network diagnostics tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (8 AM - 6 PM)
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license for occasional on-site visits
