The Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for managing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred but training available).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe workplace for everyone.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure optimal workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
