Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, scalable backend and frontend services using modern frameworks.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure high standards of engineering excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and security.
- Deploy code to production environments using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Maintain and improve legacy systems while migrating to modern architectures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a contract or full-time role.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Node.js and experience with React or Vue.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to start immediately.
