Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Node.js/Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform/CloudFormation
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins/GitLab CI
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct performance tuning and security audits for production systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record with CI/CD implementation and monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Austin-based candidates preferred for occasional on-site collaboration
