Immediate Start Required! CapitalTech Solutions seeks a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our federal client team on an urgent 6-month contract basis. This high-impact role supports critical infrastructure modernization for a leading government agency. Work in our modern downtown DC office with hybrid flexibility (3 days/week in-office).

Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for containerized microservices
- Ensure strict adherence to FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 compliance standards
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex distributed systems with Prometheus/Grafana
- Automate security protocols including vulnerability scanning and patch management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production incidents
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with federal government projects
- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong knowledge of IAM policies, VPC design, and cloud security
- Experience implementing infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems
- Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP Architect, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (must be current or within 6-month eligibility)
