Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for client events including venue setup, vendor management, and timeline execution
- Manage guest registration, check-in processes, and attendee inquiries during events
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and troubleshooting
- Prepare event materials including signage, schedules, and informational packets
- Conduct post-event evaluations and compile comprehensive activity reports
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation for all assigned events
- Provide exceptional on-site customer service to ensure positive attendee experiences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/event management certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital event management tools
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of New Orleans venues and event landscape highly valued
