As a Temporary IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our clients' technical needs, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person (Helpdesk).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist with the deployment of new workstations, software installations, and user onboarding.
- Manage ticket queues using ITSM tools and document all incidents and resolutions accurately.
- Collaborate with the network administration team to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Conduct regular system health checks and basic preventative maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of verifiable experience in IT support or a Helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if required by the client).
