Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive executive decision-making and organizational alignment
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-oriented solutions and business models
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global forums on the future of industry and technology
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team while managing strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-oriented strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership on future trends and strategic foresight projects
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations with global scope
