We're seeking a passionate Senior UX/UI Designer to lead end-to-end design projects for our Austin-based fintech startup. This 6-month contract offers flexible remote work with weekly in-person collaboration at our downtown Austin studio.
Responsibilities
- Execute user research, persona development, and journey mapping for financial SaaS platforms
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement pixel-perfect designs
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on quantitative/qualitative feedback
- Present design strategies to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Maintain design consistency across 15+ product features
Qualifications
- 5+ years UX/UI design experience with SaaS or fintech products
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes
- Experience implementing design systems in production environments
- Certification in UX research or interaction design preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced startup environments with ambiguous requirements
