Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical audits to identify and resolve critical SEO roadblocks affecting site performance.
- Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking for superior crawlability and indexing.
- Lead initiatives to improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and mobile usability.
- Implement and audit advanced Schema.org markup to enhance search result visibility.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve canonicalization issues, implement proper redirects, and manage robots.txt directives.
- Analyze Google Search Console and Analytics data to drive strategic decisions and reporting.
- Stay ahead of search engine algorithm updates, specifically focusing on AI and machine learning integration in search results.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in Technical SEO, with a track record of improving organic traffic for complex, high-traffic websites.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; ability to read and debug code.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and third-party SEO auditing tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs).
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or Headless CMS like Gatsby/Next.js).
