Responsibilities
- System Design & Development: Architect and implement robust, scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Code Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards; conduct thorough code reviews.
- Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering team through knowledge sharing and pair programming.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure project delivery aligns with business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, or Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently in contract roles or as a collaborative team member in full-time environments.
