Responsibilities
- Technical Auditing: Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexation problems.
- Keyword Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven keyword strategies to dominate organic search rankings for high-value terms.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to optimize on-page elements, meta tags, and headings for maximum relevance and engagement.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, providing actionable monthly reports to stakeholders.
- Link Building: Execute white-hat link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously analyze competitor strategies to identify new opportunities and market gaps.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, specifically in a technical or agency environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a strong plus. Familiarity with schema markup and site architecture.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to work from the New York, NY area.
- Flexibility: Ability to manage a contract schedule that may include part-time hours.
