We are seeking a visionary and data-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. As a key player in our marketing division, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive search engine optimization strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and increase lead generation. You will work at the intersection of technical expertise and creative content strategy to ensure our digital presence dominates the market.
In this role, you will not only manage the technical aspects of SEO but also mentor junior team members and collaborate with product and content teams to deliver exceptional user experiences that search engines love.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems.
- Develop and implement keyword research strategies to target high-value search terms and optimize on-page content accordingly.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, providing actionable insights through monthly performance reports.
- Optimize site architecture, internal linking structures, and meta tags to improve user experience and search visibility.
- Execute and manage link-building campaigns to acquire high-authority backlinks from relevant industry sources.
- Stay abreast of the latest Google algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
- Analyze competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and market differentiation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong track record of improving organic rankings and driving traffic.
- Deep technical understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz Pro, and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
