Apex Digital is seeking a results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our innovative marketing team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving organic growth, improving search visibility, and optimizing the digital footprint of our flagship SaaS products. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and product managers to execute data-backed SEO strategies that position us as an industry leader. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance and crawlability.
- Develop and execute data-driven link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and referral traffic.
- Lead keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover high-value opportunities and content gaps.
- Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures, to improve organic rankings.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and SERP rankings using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly copy and ensure content aligns with user intent.
- Stay abreast of the latest search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to recommend proactive optimizations.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving organic search rankings for complex websites.
- Strong proficiency in technical SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4).
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
