Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure and systems 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks and patch management during off-peak hours.
- Respond to and resolve critical alerts and incidents immediately via monitoring tools.
- Document system changes, outages, and resolutions in the ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira).
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for routers, switches, and firewalls.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a NOC or Network Operations role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating night shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or Cisco CCNA preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills under pressure.
