Responsibilities
- Tier 2 & Tier 3 Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for enterprise clients across the Los Angeles area.
- Network Management: Monitor network traffic, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure secure access via VPN and remote desktop tools.
- Hardware & Asset Management: Perform inventory checks, deploy new workstations, and manage end-of-life hardware disposal in compliance with corporate standards.
- Help Desk Escalation: Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated tickets from Level 1 support, ensuring rapid resolution times.
- System Maintenance: Execute scheduled patch management, backup verification, and server maintenance during off-peak hours.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate tickets in the ServiceNow platform, detailing troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and remote support tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical users professionally.
- LA-based: Must reside within the Los Angeles metropolitan area or be available for on-site support when required.
