Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for long-term product development and business planning
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with company vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future scenarios and risk mitigation strategies
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for stakeholders on technology evolution
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and proof-of-concepts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with strategic roadmapping for 5+ year horizons
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly valued
