Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for tech adoption and integration across enterprise operations
- Produce foresight reports and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Represent the company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Build and mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic impact on innovation pipeline and market positioning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, or climate tech
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $50M
