Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives to identify and quantify emerging trends impacting global markets by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for clients in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning using quantitative data, ethnographic research, and expert interviews
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Build and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database using Python and NLP tools
- Coordinate cross-functional workshops with innovation teams to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused business strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications
- Experience leading cross-continental teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas regions
