Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026 market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations translating complex futures into executive insights
- Advise C-suite on innovation portfolio allocation based on emerging disruption patterns
- Establish early-warning systems for technological obsolescence and market inflection points
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with long-term strategic vision
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and disruption analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to communicate complex futures narratives
- Experience leading multi-stakeholder strategic initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) preferred
