Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026-2030
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) for competitive implications
- Design and maintain horizon scanning systems for early innovation detection
- Produce high-impact future-state reports and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with R&D to align long-term vision with product roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven experience developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
