Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological and societal trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech)
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives and market shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into prototype development
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to accelerate future-ready solutions
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and disruptor landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic foresight frameworks
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Published thought leadership on innovation trends or future scenarios
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
