Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop data-driven innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing strategies
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Drive patent development for emerging market opportunities
- Represent Horizon at global innovation summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on AI, climate tech, or biotechnology convergence
- Experience with Delphi methods, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofed products/systems
