Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and space exploration domains
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Manage R&D sprints for prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present futures scenarios to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or neurotech
- Published research in futures studies or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and trend-mapping methodologies
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent innovation discipline
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ breakthrough innovations launched in the last 5 years
