Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for enterprise innovation and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Author high-impact trend briefs and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Represent the organization at futurism conferences and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technological forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
