Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for 2026-2035
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Establish innovation governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Manage cross-functional teams executing future-focused initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of implementing future scenarios into business strategy
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published work in futurism or innovation thought leadership
