Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi studies)
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports and innovation roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with global R&D and product teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for commercial viability
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities and business strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven experience with trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong network within futurist communities and academic institutions
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
