- Champion 'future-back' methodologies to align organizational capabilities with 2026 market demands
- Direct cross-functional execution of pilot programs for breakthrough innovations (AI, quantum, bio-integration)
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and market adoption velocity
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board with data-driven scenario planning models
- Build external ecosystem partnerships with research institutions and innovation accelerators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech scale impact
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech)
- Expertise in futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies in US/EU markets
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with C-suite and board experience
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- PMP or equivalent innovation certification preferred
