Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and executive strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend impact assessments
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Present visionary narratives to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and immersive storytelling
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team while managing cross-functional innovation sprints
- Pioneer novel methodologies for quantifying future uncertainty and opportunity landscapes
- Author seminal thought leadership pieces on 2026 technology convergence and human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with mastery of visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry white papers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategic adaptation
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, WFS) strongly preferred
