Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and technology roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Present future-vision insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership content on technological disruption
- Advise product development teams on integrating emerging technologies into commercial offerings
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology assessment, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology journals preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in tech-forward organizations
