Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for innovation initiatives aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and impact analysis for disruptive technologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate futuristic concepts into product development
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Establish innovation metrics to track progress and ROI of strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in technology forecasting or strategic innovation roles
- Proven track record of successfully anticipating and capitalizing on emerging trends
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
