Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop and publish annual 'State of 2026' technology impact reports
- Architect innovation roadmaps for quantum computing applications in healthcare and logistics
- Direct cross-functional teams building neuro-ergonomic interfaces and ambient intelligence systems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present findings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology innovation or strategic foresight roles
- Published research on exponential technology impacts (peer-reviewed journals preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption curves, and disruption analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ projects with 2026+ commercialization timelines
- Proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D funding for experimental technologies
