Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and socioeconomic disruptions
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into R&D processes
- Establish KPIs for measuring organizational preparedness for 2026 industry shifts
- Maintain a global network of futurists and innovation thought leaders
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proven track record of developing enterprise-level strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning and systemic risk analysis
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology trends
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
