Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Present actionable insights to executive leadership and board committees through compelling narratives
- Oversee cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry think tanks
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-shaper
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF preferred)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
