Responsibilities
- Develop and execute horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive trends and emerging technologies
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps and product concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future readiness and exponential opportunity assessment
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and futurist research communities
- Maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database and early-warning system
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy and product development
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of published foresight work or thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) strongly preferred
