What You'll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of web applications using React and Node.js.
- Design and implement robust APIs and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize database performance and ensure system security and scalability.
- Participate in agile sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Node.js.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsive, cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting within the Seattle area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
