Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Architect, design, and implement scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python).
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting rigorous code reviews for the team.
- System Optimization: Analyze existing codebases and optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Testing & Deployment: Develop unit and integration tests to ensure product stability and automate CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the contract team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and RESTful APIs. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Tools: Strong understanding of version control (Git) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, or hybrid.
