Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UI components using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement design systems and ensure brand consistency
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability using performance best practices
- Write clean, maintainable code following ES6+ standards and team coding conventions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on frontend best practices
- Implement automated testing strategies including Jest and Cypress
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into client-facing applications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience building complex web applications with React.js
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (including Sass/SCSS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Proven experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and React Router
- Familiarity with Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment platforms (AWS, Vercel, Netlify)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful large-scale frontend projects
- Austin-based candidates preferred for occasional on-site collaboration
